After the success of the Altus button lock design, the Chevalier is here to fill the hand of the more tactically minded among us. The knife itself is a great do-it-all design providing you with the length for most tasks and a bluntish-tip sheepsfoot blade for safety cutting should the need arise. The handle is a simple, ergonomic shape with a single finger groove for indexing, a reversible pocket clip, and a button lock that can be manipulated without putting your fingers in the path of the blade. A lot of things come together to make the Chevalier such an awesome knife and fitting of its incredible namesake.

The first and most recognizable part of this design is the D2 tanto blade. It’s big, it’s broad, and it’s flat ground for toughness. The action is very pleasing as the size of the blade, the detent, and the caged ceramic bearings make it buttery smooth using the studs or flipper tab. This tab acts as a finger guard preventing you from accidentally sliding forward onto the blade when using. The ergonomic handle has a solid feel provided by the stainless steel liners and we don’t think it gets any more comfortable than this. Add in a reversible deep carry pocket clip and backspacer with lanyard slot built-in and you have a tactical knife built for anyone. Finally, it’s priced for everyone and each variant might just be cooler than the last.

The Civivi Exarch C2003 is a slim and lightweight EDC pocket knife. You hardly feel it in your pocket. Because of the deep-carry pocket clip, it is located nice and deep in your pocket, very discrete. The hollow grind looks amazing. It is thin to make sure the Exarch is amazing to use.
You quickly open this knife with the front flipper. It is remarkable that Civivi enhanced this knife with ceramic ball bearings. A feature you often see on knives in a much higher price range. When opened the blade is locked by a solid liner lock. As such your fingers are safe when you use this knife.

The Hadros is an efficient cutter from Dylan Mallery with an ultra-slender handle. The wide Wharncliffe blade is deployed with dual thumb studs and has a hollow saber grind for maximum sharpness. Its slim handle is probably our favorite feature of this knife, making for a comfortable grip and easy carrying EDC piece. The handle is just enough to cover the blade in the closed position and allow for an ergonomic grip, nothing more. It would make a viable outdoorsman knife and is perfectly poised to excel at utility tasks. Give the Hadros a shot, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
