Pros:
– lightweight and compact, yet still feels solid in the hand
– looks great in my opinion; it has a lovely shape, discreet and classy
– deep carry clip, which is nice and strong; doesn’t move side to side
Cons:
– maybe it’s just because it’s brand new, but it’s quite hard to flip the blade out using your index finger. Using the thumb is fine, but the gimping is hurting my index finger as I need a lot of pressure and just the right position to flip it open. Hopefully with time it will loosen up and I’ll learn the best position.
– the finger choil on the blade could be a bit more pronounced (or there could be a small tang added) for extra safety. Having said that, the detente feels fairly strong so I’m not too worried, I just need to be mindful.
– pocket clip isn’t reversible, which I’m fine with as a righty but lefties may not
– there is no lanyard hole; you could have some paracord around the top of the clip, that would not detract too much from deep carry, but some people may prefer a dedicated lanyard hole. I knew this before buying and was ok with it so no issues for me.
Also as a general note, the pictures on the website are quite accurate in terms of the colour. It’s a dark green micarta but I think it looks more grey/silver with a faint green tinge.
