The Thug from We Knife Co. just got a whole lot more portable! The Thug 2 from CIVIVI reimagines this design with more everyday-friendly materials and construction. The main changes are that the handle scales are now made from G-10, an ultra-lightweight fiberglass laminate that can withstand all weather conditions. The blade is now Nitro-V, stainless steel renowned for its good mix of edge retention, hardness, and corrosion resistance. What hasn’t changed is the Thug 2’s ability to bite through any task, thanks to its versatile compound grind which combines all the merits of convex and hollow grinds. The Civivi Exarch C2003 is a slim and lightweight EDC pocket knife. You hardly feel it in your pocket. Because of the deep-carry pocket clip, it is located nice and deep in your pocket, very discrete. The hollow grind looks amazing. It is thin to make sure the Exarch is amazing to use.
You quickly open this knife with the front flipper. It is remarkable that Civivi enhanced this knife with ceramic ball bearings. A feature you often see on knives in a much higher price range. When opened the blade is locked by a solid liner lock. As such your fingers are safe when you use this knife.

The Hadros is an efficient cutter from Dylan Mallery with an ultra-slender handle. The wide Wharncliffe blade is deployed with dual thumb studs and has a hollow saber grind for maximum sharpness. Its slim handle is probably our favorite feature of this knife, making for a comfortable grip and easy carrying EDC piece. The handle is just enough to cover the blade in the closed position and allow for an ergonomic grip, nothing more. The first and most recognizable part of this design is the D2 tanto blade. It’s big, it’s broad, and it’s flat ground for toughness. The action is very pleasing as the size of the blade, the detent, and the caged ceramic bearings make it buttery smooth using the studs or flipper tab. This tab acts as a finger guard preventing you from accidentally sliding forward onto the blade when using. The ergonomic handle has a solid feel provided by the stainless steel liners and we don’t think it gets any more comfortable than this. Add in a reversible deep carry pocket clip and backspacer with lanyard slot built-in and you have a tactical knife built for anyone. Finally, it’s priced for everyone and each variant might just be cooler than the last.
