After the success of the Curvaceous collaboration with WE Knives, Eric has once again teamed up to bring you the CIVIVI Mini Sandbar. This utility flipper comes in at just under three inches in length for legal concerns in many localities and the ergonomic handle is one of its best features. The dual equal-groove design of sorts makes it fit well into the hand of many users and the large lanyard loop and reversible pocket clip will be a make or break for some of you. Others will never use these attributes but the fact that they’re there makes all the difference when shopping for a new knife. The Mini Sandbar is an excellent choice as its combination of style, size, and speed is spot on.

Civivi Button Lock Elementum – Black G10 Handle (3.47″ Black Stonewashed 14C28N) C 2103A £90.00For this design, CIVIVI not only changed up the lock type but also went with Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel for the blade and lengthened the design about an inch overall. This makes for a completely different knife, in the same footprint that we all know and love, but this one is just downright better. The Sandvik blade will take a razor-sharp edge and provides excellent stainless properties making this a great outdoorsman’s knife. The pocket clip is now reversible for left-handed users, however, the button lock still favors righties. The lanyard post is now hidden on the backspacer – which is an excellent design choice, and the only thing that might make it better is a flipper tab. The Button Lock Elementum is ready for all-day use, tactical scenarios, and the outdoors while remaining one of the best, most capable knives at this price point.

The wide Wharncliffe blade is deployed with dual thumb studs and has a hollow saber grind for maximum sharpness. Its slim handle is probably our favorite feature of this knife, making for a comfortable grip and easy carrying EDC piece. The handle is just enough to cover the blade in the closed position and allow for an ergonomic grip, nothing more. It would make a viable outdoorsman knife and is perfectly poised to excel at utility tasks. Give the Hadros a shot, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
