Because of the deep-carry pocket clip, it is located nice and deep in your pocket, very discrete. The hollow grind looks amazing. It is thin to make sure the Exarch is amazing to use.
You quickly open this knife with the front flipper. It is remarkable that Civivi enhanced this knife with ceramic ball bearings. A feature you often see on knives in a much higher price range. When opened the blade is locked by a solid liner lock. As such your fingers are safe when you use this knife.

Civivi Button Lock Elementum – Black G10 Handle (3.47″ Black Stonewashed 14C28N) C 2103A £90.00For this design, CIVIVI not only changed up the lock type but also went with Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel for the blade and lengthened the design about an inch overall. This makes for a completely different knife, in the same footprint that we all know and love, but this one is just downright better. The Sandvik blade will take a razor-sharp edge and provides excellent stainless properties making this a great outdoorsman’s knife. The pocket clip is now reversible for left-handed users, however, the button lock still favors righties. The lanyard post is now hidden on the backspacer – which is an excellent design choice, and the only thing that might make it better is a flipper tab. The Button Lock Elementum is ready for all-day use, tactical scenarios, and the outdoors while remaining one of the best, most capable knives at this price point.

This slip joint mechanism is all the rage because it allows for smooth opening and closing action without the oppressive force of a traditional back spring. Instead of one detent ball, it has two, which allow just the right amount of force to keep it both open and closed. This allows for the ceramic bearings to shine and the action to be as smooth as any other flipper out there, even if the tab is quite small.
